Minister of Youth Tino Machakaire said that youths who go to university without a National Youth Service certificate may struggle to get a job. He warned that they could suffer when it comes to finding employment.
Parliamentarians are employees. The people are the employer. The contract is five years.
Now tell me, in what universe does an employee wake up and say: “I’ve renewed my own contract. You’ll vote later.”
That’s not governance. That’s workplace hijacking.
No employer, no consent, no renewal.
Term-limit extension without the people is just politicians refusing to clock out, then calling it “stability.”
If a security guard did this, we’d call the police.
When politicians do it, they call it constitutional reform.
